The Parish Council operates two playing fields in the village.

The main playing field is adjacent to the village hall on Park Lane. The facilities here include a full size football pitch, toddlers play area, swings, baby swings, basketball net, picnic table, slide and climbing frames.

There is also a playing field area off Park Road, near the School which has a 5-a-side football pitch and a basketball net plus various items of play equipment. This land is rented for a small annual fee from Selby District Council.

A bye-law prohibits any motor vehicles being driven on the playing fields. Users of the playing fields may park in the village hall car park.
